Assalamu alaikom Dear Parents,

Insha'Allah, there will be a math test on Thursday, November 3rd 2016. The test will cover the following topics:

1- Place Value
2- Expanded Form
3- Comparing and ordering numbers
4- Exploring 10,000
5- Multiplying by 10, 100, and 1000
6- Rounding to the nearest 10, 100, and 1000
7- Counting Money

To review for the test, refer to the math textbook p.48 to p.53.

Assalamu alaikum respected parents

Welcome to new school year my name is T.Hoda Harb insha'Alalh I'll be your child's Arabic teacher. 

The class will be named after sahabee " Talha bin Obeid Allah" RAA

During the past weeks the students reviewed and learned the Arabic alphabets with all kinds of tashkeel tanween and madd , they learned days of the week and the Hijri months as well , also they learned اسم الاشارة ( the demonstrative pronoun) هذا (hatha) and how to use it with nouns. They started a new lesson how to introduce your self to others,how to apply hatha and hatheehee with new words, and how to apply certain Pronouns with new words.

This will be through reading / writing / oral activities.

Insha'Allah at the end of each lesson a homework will be sent home.

I'll be seeing your child 3 times each week.

أرجو التمرّن على الدرس الأول " لغتي الجميلة" حيث سيعقد الاختبار التحريري يوم الجمعة القادم 14 سبتمبر. الاختبار يشمل:

Update:

Salam Dear Parents,
MashAllah students have been working hard on their  "Hopping to the Rescue" summary. We started off by reading this very inspirational short story as a class.   We then began writing down the story elements as a rough copy. Students had their rough copy edited by a peer in the class and lastly worked on their good copy (by creating a brochure). Students have received their marks today and I had short sessions with all of them to give them tips on how to better their writing skills for next time.
Please take a look at it and sign it for tomorrow. JAK :)
