Students received their weekly math package and they are expected to bring it back to on Thursday March 24th, 2016 checked and signed by parents.

Grade 4 students received their monthly scholastic book flyers today. The book order forms are due  Thursday March 24th, 2016

Gears Test

Assalamau alaikom Dear Parents,

Insha'allah the grade 4 students will have a science test covering the Gears topic on Thursday March 24.

Students can study from text book (p. 16-39) and science package (p. 28-42)

The test will cover the following lessons:

1- What are gears?
2- The different types of gears
3- What are gears used for?
4- Examples of things that use gears

Khan Academy

Assalamu alaikom Dear Parents,

Insha'allah, grade 4 students will start using Khan Academy to improve their math skills in a fun way.

Khan Academy is a free online resource that allows students to learn anytime, anywhere, with material that is uniquely appropriate for them.  Students can explore new topics and strengthen their math skills by using interactive practice and tutorials.  

As students learn, their activity feeds into reports that show important information such as strengths and weaknesses in a particular concept.  By using Khan Academy, I’ll be able to provide a more personalized learning experience for your child.

Each student received his/her username and password today. Please help them to log in today and start using Khan Academy "Early Math".

Tr.Hadia's Update

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Respected Parents;

Hamdulillah, we have finished Surat Al-Muzmmil.

Inshallah this Friday, students will be tested on the whole surah and the new vocabulary they have learned. Please ask them to bring their Quraan notebooks home.

On Friday also, we will do a small activity reflecting on Surat Al Muzammil, so if you can kindly send with them a key chain ring.

Islamic Studies Activity- Thank you T. Dina!

With the help of the wonderful T. Dina (Islamic Studies coordinator), students acted out a puppet show on the battle of Badr! She even said the grade 4's worked very well together, cooperated with one another, and listened to each others ideas! MashAllah grade 4s!
